Success
So we made it! We finally made it to and through Convention weekend with our sanity still intact! For those who do not get the Standard Examiner, may I quote,
"Challenger Ryan D. Wilcox clawed his way into a primary runoff with incumbent state Rep. Glenn Donnelson at Saturday's Weber County Republican Party Convention. Wilcox, a former legislative assistant, captured 45 votes or 50.6% of the delegate ballots cast in House District 7....
"Wilcox and Donnelson will square off in a June 24 primary to determine the Republican Party's nominee for November's general election....Wilcox said he expected a runoff, but is pleased to have received one more delegate vote than Donnelson at the convention. 'I feel better one vote up than down,' he said.
And there you have it! All the hard work, time, blood, sweat and tears all paid off! We are going to a primary!!!
Thank you to everyone who devoted so much time on Saturday to help us make cotton candy, pop popcorn, place signs all over the place, hang banners, pass out water and stickers, etc. etc. and take time out of your lives to show us not only that you love us, but that you cherish the freedoms we enjoy! God Bless America!!

Wow, go Ryan, go ryan, go ryan...
Kristina,
I'm sorry I don't live in your district to vote for your husband. He sounds like a great guy with strong morals and good ideas, which is exactly what we need in this state (too bad power, money, and influence seem to overrule positive change).
I saw the article in the tribune and wanted to congratulate you guys on the win; it looks like you have your work cut out for you.
Good Luck,
Jolene (Lalliss) Johnson
