...Paid off!!! Last night we found out that Ryan won the primary election for Utah House of Representatives! He is now the official Republican nominee for House District 7. And boy are we tired!
I fully intended to take pictures of the entire process, the fun things we did, the hard work we did, etc. etc. reactions of friends and foes... but I tell you what, we barely had time to breathe... so pictures and blogging sat on the back burner, all the while I am thinking how I should be documenting all this. But in the thick of it all, my brain just couldn't handle one more thing!
I apologize to friends and family both who were hoping to see updates and the process on the blog. I really planned to do it, so I sincerely apologize!
Anyways, I hope I can fill in all the details in hindsight now.... but here's the kicker: Ryan's uncle Oneal passed away last week, and his funeral is today... devastating to say the least. After that we leave for vacation with my family to Island Park, ID. We get home from that and then recover long enough to go on vacation with Ryan's family. Then we are in the North Ogden parade, then two family reunions back to back, a wedding shower, etc. Not to mention I am now officially FIVE dictation tapes behind.
So....what I'm saying is it may be a little while before I can post everything!

Congrats! That's exciting! And I don't know how you are staying functional. You are always welcome to come hide out up here...let the kidlets play in the forest and stream while you relax on a picnic blanket....and let me rub your feet...:)And even get caught up on your tapes (?)

Hooray! Congratulations on the election! My deepest sympathy for your loss! Take it one day at a time and enjoy the memory making moments of your vacations and reunions etc. Love ya!

Congrats!! It was so fun seeing you (even as brief as it was) at the Farr West City parade! I hope you are starting to recover from everything...even though I'm sure the next few months will be crazy! Good luck with everything.
