During Sunday dinner, Ryan was reading me the titles of books he wants to read this summer. As soon as Ryan read the title "The Road to the Extra Mile is Never Crowded" Little Man slumps his shoulders and says with a defeated tone "I was afraid you were going to say that."
Memorial Day morning, Sunshine comes into our room dressed (that in itself is a surprise) with her purse slung over her shoulder and announces, "I'm going on a date, Bye" and spins around walking out of our room. So I call her back and say, "But you aren't 16 yet. You shouldn't go on a date until you are 16!" To which she replies with all the sass and eye roll of a teenager, "But I am only pretending, Mom!" and struts away! Five minutes later she returns happy as a clam and says, "I'm back!" "Did you have a good time?" "Yeah. He took me to a princess movie." To which I say, "Wow, sweetie! He must be a really great guy!"

We tell Meg she can't date until she graduates college. Do you think it will work? Very cute though. Mason loves to read inspirational books. I'll have to look into that book.
