Well, I am a bit embarrassed but too obsessed to care that I have found a new and probably fleeting addiction... I am now an official "Twilighter!" This is not a surprise for all my Facebook friends and my face-to-face friends who have heard Twilight-this and Twilight-that non-stop for the last two weeks. It's not that I necessarily condone what happens in the stories, but it is a love story... an impossible love story... Yet I completely love being pulled in and imaging it really could happen. I started on Wednesday, July 30 and was finished with all four books four days later! AAAHHHH!!!! I'm so glad I didn't wait a year in-between each book!!! It was so nice to start and finish and get it all resolved without all the anxiety of waiting!!!!
The absolute best part about reading it is that is I get to read about all of Edward's and Bella's good and bad qualities, about Edward and Bella's love story and instead of pine for what I want one day (like I would have if I were still a teenager), I get to set the book down and hold what is mine in my arms for real and be grateful that my soulmate is living and breathing and better than the "Edward" i am reading about, and that I don't get just immortality with mine, but ETERNITY along with the children that our true love has created. I read the books and find myself incredibly grateful for my life and thus appreciate it more.
I love a love story, a happily ever after... isn't that what we all want and aim for?
