Update

Okay, so here's the update. So the day before the caucus meetings certain people came up with a new rule that prevents possible candidates from attending any caucus meeting other than their own. Needless to say, in spite of all of our efforts, we were unable to "legally" visit the other precincts. We dropped off cookies and milk to every precinct, along with all sorts of Ryan's campaign materials.

We found out the next day who all 91 delegates are, so now the goal is to visit each one he can. This week we are having signs, banners, flyers, letterhead, t-shirts, etc. etc. made. We are reserving our booth for convention and getting volunteers to come help all day April 12. So, anyone who reads this and wants to come volunteer... PLEASE feel free to do so. PLEASE!

Our first financial report to the Lt. Governor's office is due next Wednesday. I've have been put in charge of that, and boy is it daunting. I am so scared I'm going to do it wrong!

Ryan is a bit discouraged after visiting with people this past weekend. Because he is virtually unknown, most people have either preconceived notions or have gotten bad information. So instead of talking to these people about what is important to them and what they would like to see in new representation, he is dispelling rumors. He spends hours at each place ... much wasted time. Hopefully, it pays off in the end.

Today, I am hanging out at home typing two different tapes. Jaycee and Cannon are here and my kids are having a riot. Their imaginations are off the charts when they are playing together. Today, Petey the Leprechaun was leaving messages and leading them on a treasure hunt all through the house. (I think Ryder initiated it to entertain his cousins)! Too much fun!

Right now, they are watching "The Princess Bride" and loving it. I remember watching it for the first time and I think it will always be one of my favorites. "My name is IƱigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die!"
